His most recent volume of fiction, Silence: Lectures and Writings, was published by Sweden’s Timglaset Editions, his most recent volume of poetry, Surface Tension, was published by Toronto’s Coach House Books. Beaulieu has won multiple local and national awards for his teaching and dedication to students, the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for this dedication to Albertan literature, and is the only graduate from the University of Calgary’s Department of English to receive the Faculty of Arts ‘Celebrated Alumni Award.’ Beaulieu holds a PhD in Creative Writing from Roehampton University, has served as poet laureate of both Calgary and Banff, and the Director of Literary Arts at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.

Marc di Saverio hails from Hamilton, Canada. His poems and translations have appeared internationally. In 2016 he received the City of Hamilton Arts Award for Best Emerging Writer. In 2017, his work was broadcasted on BBC Radio 3, and he published his first book of translations: Ship of Gold: The Essential Poems of Emile Nelligan (Véhicule Press). In Total Darkness Means No Notifications, we follow a lonely Arctic bitcoin miner whose only companions seem to be the hum of the servers and a malfunctioning robot, Sir David Attenbot, that spits out natural history facts like its namesake. Alisha Dukelow’s writing has been published most recently by Room, PRISM international, and The Malahat Review. She completed an MA in Creative Writing in Tiotia:ke / Montreal, and is now working on a PhD in English Literature at the University of Southern California. Her book of essay-poems, High Modernist Affect Grid, is forthcoming through The Centre for Expanded Poetics and Anteism.
